3.0 Task Manager

3.1 Add New Task
  • This operation is for admin to create new task.
  • Figure 3.1.0 shows Add New Task page :

  • Based on Figure 3.1.1, to create a new task admin need to :
      1. enter Task Name
      2. enter Task Description
      3. add Task Tag
      4. click on Assign To column a dropdown with Sale Members will appear, admin can choose sale member(s) to be assigned to
      5. set Task Due Date
      6. click Insert New Task button
  • Figure 3.1.2 shows an example :

  • The task created will appear in All Task.

3.2 All Task
  • All tasks created by admin will be displayed here.

  • If admin clicks on Task Name, they will be able to see full details of the particular task.
  • For example in Figure 3.2.1 admin clicks on "test1" :

  • Based on Figure 3.2.3, admin are allowed to update task description, due date, and assigned to.

  • If admin wish to update task description, they can edit existing description and click Update button highlighted in Figure 3.2.4 :

  • Figure 3.2 5 shows that admin are able to add task tags by entering tag(s) and clicking on Add New Tag :

  • Existing task tag can also be removed by clicking (x) icon highlighted in Figure 3.2.6 :

  • The steps to remove assigned members is the same as removing task tags.
  • Admin can delete the task by clicking Delete Task button highlighted in Figure 3.2.7 :

  • Deleted task will be removed from All Task.

3.3 Search Task
  • Search task is a page for admin to directly search task by task tag, task description and task name.
  • Figure 3.3.0 shows main page of search task :

  • Figure 3.3.1 shows that admin are able to search task by task tag, name or description :

  • Based on Figure 3.3.2 is example for when admin wants to search task by name, the steps are as follow :
      1. enter task name in the search bar
      2. click on Search By button, a dropdown will appear
      3. click on Name option from the dropdown list

  • If admin clicks on task name as highlighted in Figure 3.3.4, admin can see the full details of the task :

  • Figure 3.3.5 shows test1 details :

  • Based on Figure 3.3.5, admin are allowed to edit/update task name, task description, due date, add new element, delete task, update assigned to members and add task tag.
  • Figure 3.3.6 shows Add New Element button :

  • If admin clicks on Add Element button, an Edit Task page will appear as in Figure 3.3.7 :

  • Based on Figure 3.3.7, admin are allowed to add new assign user, add new tag and update description .
  • Figure 3.3.8, shows an example if admin updates all 3 details, they need to click on each respective buttons to save changes made.

  • After finish editing new detail, admin can click (x) icon positioned on top right of the window to exit as highlighted in Figure 3.3.9 :

  • The new details can be seen added on the current task as shown in Figure 3.3.10 :

  • The steps to remove detailed added from the Add New Element is the same as removing task tag.
